PPI is calculated from pixel dimensions, not DPI metadata. Newly enlarged exports also check original pixel density. Existing imported files may already be upscaled; sharpness and source history cannot be inferred. A shape match allows 0.3% rounding (including ISO paper); a printer may trim a tiny edge. Select Fit / no automatic crop in the print dialog. Fit exports can include white borders. Inspect the image and request a print proof; colors and print results vary.
Use landscape orientation for landscape artwork. The size table matches frame proportions regardless of orientation. Use the image’s orientation when setting paper dimensions.
